Canada Day Celebration Town Organized Event

Join the Friends of the Museum at the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum for Canada Day celebrations on Saturday, July 1st from 11:00-6:00pm. Enjoy the music of Passport and Ariko, BBQ, beer tent, inflatables and meet and greet with Characters (1:00-3:00pm) and more! Cannon fire and free cupcakes will be distributed at 2:00 p.m. Admission is FREE and fun for all ages.

This thrilling tribute explodes into full-throttled joy through renditions of Buddy Holly’s greatest hits – classics like “Peggy Sue,” “That’ll Be The Day,” “Not Fade Away,” “Rave On,” and many more.  The music lives on, as this musical celebration will have you bopping in the aisles and singing your way out of the theatre.

New this summer: Bo’sun’s Brig Escape Room! Teams of 4-6 plays solve puzzles and challenges to escape the brig and gain their freedom! Advance ticket purchase is required. If booking in conjunction with another event, a special rate may be available. Both Ghost Tours and the Escape Room are recommended for those 13 years and older. Take a walk with the staff of the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum & Archives and learn about the Indigenous and Franco-Ontarian history of our area through sculptures and art pieces in our park.
Tickets Are $7 each (children under 12 are free) and must be pre-purchased and are available by contacting the museum at museum@penetanguishene.ca or through our website www.pencenmuseum.com.
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to tour time. A reminder that the meeting place is 8 Owen St. Penetanguishene (site of the curling club)

Downtown Historical Walking Tour Town Organized Event

10:30 AM| Meeting Place - 8 Owen Street, Penetanguishene, ON

Join the staff of the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum & Archives on a historical walking tour of downtown Penetanguishene. Take a step back in time to when oxen roamed the streets and fur traders came to our shores. Learn the history of and view original photographs of, many of the current homes and businesses on Water and Main Streets. Tickets are $7 each (FREE for children under 12) and must be pre-purchased. Tickets are available by contacting the museum at museum@penetanguishene.ca or through our website www.pencenmuseum.com.

The Bayside Summer Soiree is a weekly outdoor event set upon the beautiful shores of Georgian Bay in Penetanguishene.  The Bayside Summer Soiree is a great way to spend your Friday nights, listening to live music, entertainment, outdoor movies and much more all summer long from June to September!
