Eggstravaganza Town Organized Event

Visit the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum & Archives for our Easter Extravaganza. Event includes egg hunt, visit with Easter Bunny, face painting, crafts and treat bags. Admission is $5 for each participant (Adults are Free). To ensure that we have enough treats for all of the children, pre-registration is required. Registration is available at https://top.recdesk.com/Community/Program or calling the museum at 705-549-2150. This is an outdoor event, please dress accordingly.

Community-Based Strategic Plan Open House Town Organized Event

To make impactful decisions about the future of Penetanguishene and provide the resources needed by our community, the Town of Penetanguishene is undertaking a 20 Year Community-Based Strategic Plan. Through this Strategic Plan the Town aims to continue to build on its existing assets to become a fully integrated community of choice for residents, businesses, and visitors by emphasizing the high quality of life found locally.

As part of the consultation process, we are reaching out to the community. Your views and opinions are important and will provide us with valuable insight into Penetanguishene.

Culture Alliance Event - Creative Communities Culture Conference External Community Event

The 2023 Creative Communities Culture Conference hosted by the Culture Alliance in the Heart of Georgian Bay will help participants identify and address the challenges we’ve faced, and show us what individuals, organizations, and communities have done to emerge from the pandemic with renewed energy and a refreshed outlook. Our engaging speakers will speak to their challenges and successes in our new and changing cultural landscape. This daylong event will provide you with opportunities to learn, grow, network, and take away exciting ideas on how to move yourself and your organization forward.
